Manual update with update file

Sometimes it may be necessary to update the program manually outside of the software itself. This can sometimes be necessary on network setups with unique permissions settings.

Procedure

  1. Go to Download Software Updates.
  2. Click on your specific program. You will find the most recent update file for each year of the program.
  3. Click Download to download the file. The update file can be identified by a u at the end of the filename.
  1. The update file will function identically to the regular installer, except for the need for an installation to already be present.
