Error 91: Object variable or With block variable not set

Problem

When trying to open the folder for Invoice Generator, the program displays error 91 and then crashes.

Cause

The invoice files contained within the folder are missing data and are therefore broken.

Solution

It is necessary to delete the bad files manually and then recreate them

  1. Open your database folder and find the client folder that contains the invoice that is causing the error.
    You can find your database folder by clicking on configuration and looking at Data Options

    The client folder can be found by clicking on Edit Client and then looking at Client Directory
  2. Look for files that start with INVOICE and delete them
  3. Reopen the program and recreate your invoice files
