Finding or changing the Network Data Path

This can only be done in Network mode. If the drop down is set to Single User, see Switching Between Single-User Mode and Network Mode.

Finding the Network Data Path

  1. Click Tools > Options from the menu bar.

  2. The current Network Data Path is displayed on the Options dialog.

Changing the Network Data Path

  1. Find the Network Data Path.
  2. Click Edit.
    The Options dialog box of TaxTools WorkShop, with the Network setting at the top boxed in red.
    This can only be done in Network mode. If Application Mode is set to Single User, see Switching Between Single-User Mode and Network Mode.
  3. Choose a location in the Network Database Location dialog. See Connecting to an existing network database or Creating a new network database.
