How do I move CFS programs and data to a new computer?

If you wish to move both your data and the programs to a new computer all at once, it is possible to move the entire CFSLib folder to do so.

Procedure

  1. make a copy of your CFSLib folder.
The default location of your CFSLib folder is C:\CFSLib. Otherwise, in the program you can click on Configuration to check Data Options and look for the location of CFSLib.
  1. On the new computer, place CFSLib in the same location it was on the original computer.
  2. Open CFSLib > Program Folder > WSSETUP
  3. Double-click on the setup.exe file to install the program.
If you cannot see the ".exe" extension, you need to change your settings to allow you to view extensions. Click View > Show > Hidden Items and make sure it is checked.
