Managing inactive clients

TaxTools WorkShop keep your Client List manageable by only displaying active clients, while retaining records for inactive clients.

Choose when to see inactive clients

Inactive clients can be shown or hidden in the Client List. If shown, they will appear in italics.

To control when they appear:

  1. Click Tools > Options > General from the menu bar.
  2. Check or uncheck Hide Inactive Clients.

Marking a client as inactive or active

  1. Right click a client in the Client List and choose Mark Inactive.
  2. If Hide Inactive Clients is marked, the client will be removed from the Client List. To make the client reappear, see Choose when to see inactive clients and uncheck Hide Inactive Clients. The client will reappear in the list. Then right-click on the client and choose Mark Active.
