Problem
When printing from the software the following error message is displayed:
Cause
The Payroll System software uses two custom font files:
OCRACFS.TTF
IDAUTOMATIONMICR.TTF
Both fonts are added automatically into the Windows Font Library when the software is installed. The fonts are use when printing.
If the IDAUTOMATIONMICR.TTF font file is missing from the Windows Font Library the error message is displayed.
The most common cause for this problem is a recent Windows Update simply removed the fonts.
There are other possible causes but the solution is the same.
Solution
- Download IDAutomationMICR.ttf and ocracfs.ttf with these links. You may have to manually save the file from your browser's download button.
- Navigate to your Download Folder in Windows File Explorer.
- Right click on each file and select install.
- Restart Payroll Software, printing should now work normally.
