Add your own PDFs to a Client's Files folder

There are many hundreds of tools in TaxTools WorkShop, and each of them can be saved to a client's file folder. Did you know that you can add your own PDF files to a client's folder, even if they weren't generated in our software? Here's how:

  1. Right-click on a client and left-click Import PDF...
  2. The Open dialog appears. Select the desired file and click Open.
  3. The PDF file will appear in the Client's Files section under the heading PDF Files.
  4. To rename the file, right-click on it and left-click Rename. Give it a new name and click OK.
To open the file, double-click on it. The file will open in your computer's default PDF viewer (e.g. Acrobat Reader).
Wanting to use a tax form that CFS doesn't carry? Download the PDF from the government website and use this feature to add it to your software.
