What is the difference between the non-network and the network version?

Michael Toney Updated by Michael Toney

CFS software is available as a stand-alone version, or a network version.

  • With the stand-alone version of the software, you can install the program on a computer's local drive. You can even install on more than one computer, but the computers won't share data.
  • The Network Upgrade is another item you must purchase in addition to the base program if you want the program on a network or server or other shared location where multiple computers can access it. If you need to install on such a shared drive, then you need the network version even if you only have one user.

Network upgrades are an additional cost. See pricing at www.taxtools.com or call (800) 343-1157.
