What is CFS' return policy?

Our return policy can be viewed under Terms & Conditions. To get to that webpage:

  1. Go to www.taxtools.com.
  2. Click on MyCFS (upper right).
  3. Click on Terms & Conditions (lower left). You do not need to log into your MyCFS account.

Refunds, less shipping, will be accepted no later than 30 days after delivery of the product(s). Additionally, tax forms will not be accepted for refund between December 15th and April 15th. Custom folders cannot be returned for a refund. Products must be returned in undamaged condition.

  • CFS does not pay return shipping. We do not issue call tags for returns.
  • CFS does not accept returns of tax forms or W-2/1099 envelopes after December 15th of each year—even if purchased after that date. In addition to the fact that December-January is our busiest season, tax forms are dated.
  • Customers who are permitted to return tax forms/envelopes or tax folders/envelopes may send them, at their own expense and by the carrier of their choice, to CFS Tax Software, Inc., Attn: Returns, 1445 E. Los Angeles Ave. Ste. 214, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
  • Include a copy of your packing slip or receipt. Make sure to make your customer number clear and conspicuous.
  • Items must be received in re-saleable condition. CFS will credit the cost of the product minus shipping.
