Repair Client Database

Repair Client Database

This function on the Utilities menu repairs the client database using individual client records located in each client's data directory. This should only be necessary if the client database has been corrupted. One example would be corruption by the Cryptolocker virus that attacks .DBF files. It is only recommended when the program cannot read the client database or load the client list properly. If the client list loads but clients are missing, try the "Undelete Clients" function, or try to Restore Clients from a backup first.

The Configuration screen must be pointing to the database that needs to be repaired. The numbered client subdirectories must be present at that location.

The program will confirm the operation and tell the user how many clients are in the repaired database.
